All Christi Harris products are tested for irritancy and allergy, using biological assays and human volunteers. We do not test our products on animals, nor do we ask others to conduct animal testing on our behalf. Instead of testing our products on living animals, our laboratory uses alternative testing methods. Are Christi Harris Products oil free and non-comedogenic? All Christi Harris products are non-acnegenic and oil-free by cosmetic industry standards (this means that Christi Harris products do not contain pore-clogging oils). Christi Harris products do contain natural oils, which function as emollients (for example: spearmint oil and peppermint oil).
